Extract: <p><b>Tarik Daniel Skubal</b> is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Detroit Tigers. He was selected by the Tigers in the ninth round of the 2018 MLB draft and made his MLB debut in 2020. He is a two-time American League (AL) Cy Young Award winner. In 2024, Skubal was named an All-Star and became the first American League pitcher since 2011 to capture both the pitching Triple Crown and the Cy Young Award in a full season. He was again named an All-Star in 2025.</p>
